I wanted to explain immediately but I realized that 400 letters isn’t enough to talk about the relationship between water and weight loss so let’s break it down here.
Water does not have some magical power to burn fat but it helps with your weight loss effort. 8 glasses a day is recommended by a lot nutritionist. If you take tea a lot, you can reduce your water intake for the day.
One way water can help in weight loss is by stopping you from over eating. Staying hydrated can help stop over eating. A good way to know if you are hydrated is to check the colour of your urine. If it is clear or light yellow, you are good but if it is darker, you need to drink more water to lose weight.
According to fitness expert Jillian Michaels, “Hydration can curb hunger and boost your metabolism by up to 3 percent! Drink water until your pee looks like lemonade”
Another way it aids in weight loss is to suppress your appetite. Water suppresses appetite. It is advisable to take a glass of water before every meal to make you feel fuller and then you don’t have to eat so much.
Water also helps you shed water weight. If you have you ever felt bloated, that is what happens when your body retains water. This is sometimes caused by dehydration. So why not try and feel lighter by adding more of it in your daily meal.
Studies show that you could lose 75 calories per meal by drinking water before every meal. If you lose 75 calories for every meal in a month, can you imagine how much weight you would have lost? Do the maths
