Signs You May Want to Switch to Organic Skin Care

Miranda Kerr is just one on the list of the many celebrities that use organic products. She eats healthy, as well and she also made her own organic cosmetic line. Alicia Silverstone goes one step further and claims that she has solved her acne problem by using the organic cosmetic line and leading a healthy lifestyle. Here are the problems that people claim they have solved by switching to organic products and cosmetic lines. Some of them are not truly solved, but the organic cosmetics have provided a lot of relief and made them way better and far more bearable.

Acne

There are many causes for the acne. Some of them are hormonal, some are caused by the skin dryness, toxins that build up in your body, stress levels and many more. Healthy lifestyle choices are the first step in fighting acne. However, that is rarely enough. You need cosmetics to help you solve this problem. You need to search for the products that contain tea tree extracts and oils, mint oil, dead sea salts, boswellia, lemon tea tree, rose geranium, just to name a few. You need to be careful with the application and stay clear of the alcohol and fragrance in your cosmetics.

Skin Dryness

Dry skin is a common problem and it can be very irritating. Some people have ti genetically, some develop it throughout the years, and others have it as a result of different conditions, like exposure to sun, wind and other atmospheric conditions. To soothe your dry skin, it is essential that you switch to organic cosmetics because they have the least of the harmful chemicals and harsh and aggressive components that irritate your skin. Try to find the organic cosmetics that contain coconut oil, olive oil, Aloe Vera, avocado or sesame oil. These ingredients should be present in your daily skin care, as well as in your weekly face masks and other treatments that you use.

Increasingly Oily Skin

Hormonal misbalance and the genetics play a very important role in causing the skin to be oily. Oily skin usually comes with bigger pores that get filled and form blackheads. People with oily skin are more prone to pimples, small skin infections and other skin conditions. You need to do your best to keep your skin clean without triggering the excessive sebum production that will make it even oilier. Herbs and other organic components that you need in your cosmetics are sea buckthorn, mint, tea tree, lavender, rose, citrus, kale and cornflower among the others.

Eczema

If there is one annoying skin condition that exists, then it is the eczema. It can appear almost anywhere on the body, but it prefers skin patches around fingers, toes, ears and knees. It causes redness, itching, flaking and sometimes even small blisters and different other skin issues. Dermatologists usually call it the atopic dermatitis. This condition is considered to be genetic or a glitch in your immune system. As such, it cannot be treated with cosmetics, but it can be soothed. Cosmetic products that you can use are those organic products that have no fragrance in them, at all. You should look for products that contain coconut oil, rosemary leaf, beeswax, Echinacea root and especially plantain herb.

It is very important to know your skin type if you want to make the most of your organic cosmetics line. Different components have different effects and using them wrongly can make your problem escalate. Therefore, make sure that you know whether your skin is oily, dry, combined or if those pimples are just an occasional issue or do you have an acne problem.
